Best 8 days has been a great experience for those that take the challenge and
attend. I have seen people really grow in their relationship with God;
friendships grow; and friendships renewed. I have also witnessed people come to
Christ, the most important decision of their lives. I personally have grown,
especially in my realization of how powerful prayer is. Prayer is just not
spoken wishful thinking towards a silent God. Oh, no. Prayer is the most
powerful tool believers have. That is the key, one must believe and trust that
God will act. I realized that, and that sounds so simple, but how many of us
really believe that prayer is more than just wishful thinking that God may act
on? Honestly? I have learned that if you believe prayer will be answered. God
does act, and this is especially apparent in those that trust Him to do so.
Others, once again including myself, have learned that they need God to be an
active part of their daily lives. Once again, a Sunday school lesson, but do we
really put that into play? Life is so much easier, happier, and makes more sense
if we keep God in mind. Keeps life in perspective. I could say a million good
things about Best 8 Days and what it has done for me and others. But, they will
be just words until you experience it for yourself...and good news, the May 1st
deadline for the deposit has been extended to the day of the trip. Please, come
fellowship with a group of Christians who want to have fun and grow all at the
same time. Best 8 days is by far the best 8 days of my year...they are the most
fun, full of great fellowship, and the time of the most growth and reflection.
